Amy’s career spans over 28 years in the retail industry across several channels including 15 years with vertical specialty, 10 years of digital, and 9 years with department stores. As a strategic and visionary leader, Amy has delivered growth and results for major brands including Kohl’s, Old Navy, Gap, and American Eagle.
As an innovative and transformational senior retail executive, Amy has extensive digital, product, and merchandising expertise. She is an agile leader and has proven success in pivoting to new business models and categories as well as leading large teams through transformational change.
Amy has an expansive knowledge of category experience with deep expertise in fashion apparel and beauty. In her most recent role as Executive Vice President at Kohl’s, she directed business revenue up to $4 billion and gained increasing responsibilities and diversity of categories including beauty & personal care, junior’s apparel, children’s, toys, accessories, and jewelry. Amy took bold action to lead the company’s focus on beauty, architecting the strategic roadmap to $1 billion.
Amy was a part of the Senior team at Kohl’s that led the organization thru digital transformation dramatically accelerating digital sales. She is drawn to emerging businesses and change. Amy led the incubation of new businesses providing enterprise-level oversight of the innovation team that incubated new brands and categories, many launching digital-first, then scaling to stores.
Throughout her career, she has been known for her unwavering passion, clear vision, innovative thinking, and being a change agent. Amy is a champion for diversity and is passionate about coaching and mentoring minority and female-founded brands through Simpactful’s Impact program. The Impact program is a Simpactful initiative to provide short-term, targeted consulting support for BIPOC-owned businesses.
