Simpactful is pleased to announce the addition of Lindsay McShane, Sr. Consultant, to the Simpactful team. With nearly three decades at P&G and Clorox, McShane adds deep knowledge and experience for Simpactful in end-to-end supply chain management.  McShane has a proven track record of results in transforming supply chains across North America and her expertise in warehousing, transportation, planning, supply network design, and operations adds enhanced capabilities to Simpactful’s expanding portfolio of services.

Most recently at P&G, McShane, led the break-through transportation sourcing and implementation for P&G’s Customer Responsive Network which resulted in increased on-time delivery performance, cost savings for both P&G and the retailer, and strengthening business relationships. “Our new approach with mixing centers allowed us to eliminate costs to reinvest in other areas of the supply chain,” adds McShane, “I’m very excited to work with the Simpactful team because I’ve worked across the table with many of them and I love the energy and experience they bring.”

McShane has always focused on daily operational discipline in supply chain management, eliminating non-value added work and driving simplification throughout complex supply chains.

When asked about hot topics in supply chain management, McShane points out the increased focus on sustainability. “Companies are looking to become more sustainable by reducing their packaging and carbon emissions, they realize quickly the impact their in-house supply chain operations has on the environment and their company goals and it can be a daunting task,” explains McShane. “We are enamored by Amazon’s transformation on the retail industry, but how it’s currently operating is not environmentally sustainable and consumers are starting to take notice. Suppliers and retailers can jointly figure out how they can make changes to drive improvements to reduce their carbon footprint,” says McShane.

The Simpactful team stands ready to work with retailers and CPG brands to tap into new strategies and possibilities for supply chain transformation.
