She thrives on transforming and driving growth for large, enterprise companies as well as start-up brands. She is a proven capability-builder, leveraging the combination of strong brand and Marketing fundamentals with advancement in data-driven marketing and technology.
Mindel is the former General Manager of Integrated Marketing Communications, Brand Experience, and Digital Transformation for Colgate-Palmolive, where she led in-house brand experience and agency teams across the $3.5B oral care, personal care, and home care categories in North America. Over her extensive career, Mindel has worked in leadership, operational, strategic, and C-Suite advisory roles, building global brands, advancing marketing investment strategies, and transforming organizational capabilities to lead in a digital world. As a digital marketing innovator, Mindel has been at the forefront of driving the evolution of marketing through every iteration of web technology. During her tenure at Colgate, Mindel led 3 enterprise-wide digital transformations that step-changed capability across the company, harnessing evolution in creative, content, media, and analytics to significantly drive marketing effectiveness. She built the company’s personalization and 1P growth strategy while also architecting and managing corporate relationships with Google, Meta, Amazon, and emerging digital platforms. She has established best practices across search, video, display, social, and eCommerce media.
A strong DEI&B champion, Mindel has broad experience in multicultural and global marketing. Fluent in Spanish, she has lived and worked extensively in Latin America. She began her career at Telemundo, where she developed consumer insights and new business for Spanish-language media. She later joined Colgate, where she led U.S. Hispanic and multicultural marketing. Mindel has been an advocate of and mentor to women and working mothers throughout her career.
Mindel had the opportunity to train marketers around the world throughout the evolution of digital Marketing and developed a passion for training & development. She currently serves as an adjunct professor at CUNY Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business, where she teaches Data-Driven Marketing Management to MBA and MS students. Mindel also serves as an independent board director and advisor to private-equity-backed marketing technology and services companies.
Mindel is a native New Yorker and resides in Westchester, NY where she and her husband, John, raised their daughters Sophia and Alex. Along with her family, Mindel loves to cook, travel, and cheer on the Michigan Wolverines. Currently, they are learning the ropes of puppy parenthood through the latest addition to their family, Luca.
