San Francisco, CA – March 6, 2017, Simpactful LLC extends a warm welcome to Carly Broderick, a retail and omnichannel expert, to its swiftly-growing team of consultants. Carly comes to Simpactful with a decade of experience working at Target as well another decade of consumer marketing experience working with global entertainment brands and experiential marketing agencies.
During her tenure at Target, Carly transformed how the retailer creates the in-store consumer experience, and led the incubation and development of new categories into multi-million dollar businesses with dominant market share. She was a key leader in the evolution of the omnichannel operational model, leveraging her ability to connect strategy to action. Carly led strategy, financials and teams in Beauty, Toys, Sporting Goods and Pharmacy.
Carly also spent time at Universal Studios where she led licensing brand strategy and development of Universal’s stable of entertainment brands. She grew several consumer brands into multi-discipline franchises, such as Curious George, The Fast and the Furious and Jurassic Park, was a change agent for a new focus on building children’s brands, and helped hone Universal’s retail marketing strategy and approach. As Account Lead at Merv Griffin Productions, Carly created and executed experiential marketing events for such brands as Charles Schwab, Louis Vuitton, Sony Pictures and Mattel.
Carly’s specialties include retail channel strategy, ecommerce content activation, partnership and alliances creation, product launch and seasonal planning, and brand extension creation.
